Work on one of the highlights of Barton upon Humber’s Christmas Festival, the Lantern Parade, begins soon with the launch of the lantern making workshops. This year, the workshops have again been organised by the Barton based children’s charity, ST-ART, and have the theme, Winter Wonderland.

Busy summer programme for Barton’s ST-ART

Around 350 young people have enjoyed this summer’s craft activities put together by the Barton upon Humber based charity, ST-ART. The activities, which have taken place in Barton and Scunthorpe, as well as rural villages, have been based on Jules Verne’s novel, Around the World in 80 Days.
