Pru Green Swan Song

Sat, September 12, 2026 - Sun, November 29, 2026

Pru Green’s Swan Song celebrates her life story in ceramics through times spent in Alvingham, Gwili and Essex; sixty years of making pots and encouraging others along the way.

Pru’s love of clay started at a young age, at Art School in Sheffield.  Her work celebrates the craft of ceramics in hand thrown pieces, decorated with coloured slips, using her own designs inspired by the natural world and the magic of life.  Often displayed as art objects, Pru’s are functional pieces that are collected and used world wide. They are currently simply signed ‘Pru Green: made in Manningtree.’

She is delighted that former students, now experts in the field and friends, have agreed to join her in this exhibition.
